The Main Salmon River is great fun for beginners or experienced rafters and kayakers.  If a nice quiet afternoon is preferred, canoeing the many lakes available in the area is a delightful and scenic experience.

Whether you are by yourself or have a whole truck full, Sawtooth Rental can supply your every need when it comes to taking to the water.

Launching from our facility on the Main Salmon provides those who desire a "calmer" run the perfect way to see 10 miles of the river.  You will go by Lower Stanley, Salmon River Campground, Mormon Bend, Basin Creek and come out at the Rough Creek convergence with the Salmon.
If your desire leads you to the Middle Fork of the Salmon, we have the raft for you.  All of our large rafts come with raft (self-bailer), frame w/pins and straps, cooler, dry box, repair kit, 3 oars with oarlocks, 4 dry bags, 4 lifejackets and rope.  All equipped for the ride on the "whiter" waters of the Sawtooth Mountains.

So whether you want the white water experience or an afternoon float, we have the raft or canoe for you.

Reservations suggested.  OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:  Customers who cancel prior to the fourteen day limit will receive a refund minus a $15.00 bookkeeping fee per room.  Cancellations made after fourteen days of arrival will be charged the entire first night's deposit for each room.
